Key Stage 3 Transition 2023

The closing date for applications to transfer to secondary school in September 2023 is the 31^st October 2022.

Please could you advise all year 6 parents about the closing date and the links below which provide information on how the application process works and how to apply online.

We recommend that parents apply online as this means they will receive an automatic confirmation of their application.  It also means they will receive an offer from us by email on 1^st March 2023.

If parents are unable to apply online they can apply by downloading an application form using this link: Download school application forms . Please print the form and ask parents to return the form to you by the closing date. Please keep a record of the time the form was received and send it to us electronically.

Email offers in response to online applications will be made after noon on 1^st March 2023. Offer letters in response to paper applications will be posted first class on 1^st March 2023 which means they will not be received until after 1^st March.  No decisions will be given by telephone.

On 17^th October we will send you a list of the applications we have received to enable you to contact any parents who have not applied by that date.
