Fantastic to see these Year Fives so proud of the booklets and writing which were inspired by their learning about Anne Frank! As we approach the end of the term, City Academy Whitehawk students are publishing their work to really celebrate everything they have worked so hard on over Autumn 1. 

Family Consultations 

It was wonderful to see so many families coming into school this week to hear about the progress your children have made, and to see the brilliant work they have produced. If you ever have questions about your child’s learning or their time at school, please check in with their class teacher at collection time. 

Half termly CAW Newsletter 

As part of our new communication strategy, we will be sharing a half termly Newsletter with you all. This will include lots of good news from the term, and in Autumn 1 we’ll be responding to some of the requests raised in the Family Survey. We’ll be emailing this out next week, as well as sending printed copies home with each child. 

Family Engagement events next week 

I’m sure you’re as excited as we are about the Family Engagement events happening next week. These will all have a maths focus as it’s one of our priority areas here at CAW. Here’s a reminder of the times for each class...we’re looking forward to seeing you in school! 

House Celebration 

It’s fantastic to know that thousands of Learning Tickets have been awarded this half term for the children really working to show their City Academy Whitehawk Growth Mindset Qualities! As well as the weekly Class Celebrations for the most Learning Tickets earned, we will be having our very special Autumn 1 House Celebration for the winning house next week. The current scores are as follows, but there’s plenty of time for any of the houses to still win...remember: every ticket counts!
