New Art Installation in the main entrance

We are so proud of the City Academy Whitehawk mosaic that Year Five collaborated on during our Arts Week. It’s a beautiful piece of art, and a great metaphor to show how individuals combine to create our school community. Many thanks to Steve for installing it in pride of place in our entrance area! 

Christmas productions 

We are so excited to see the final performances next week! The children and staff have worked really hard on them, and you are in for a treat. It’s always one of the highlights of the year. Here are the performance times...I’m looking forward to seeing you there! 

Five Star Hygiene Rating 

Aspens, the company that provide our delicious school lunches, work incredibly hard, and we are delighted to announce that we have once again received the top five star rating for kitchen hygiene. Big thanks to Lou and the team who are doing such a great job for us. 

Department for Education filmed at CAW 

Attendance is incredibly important to us as a school: we know that the more children are here, the more they will feel part of our school community. Building this sense of belonging as part of City Academy Whitehawk means so much to us, and it was wonderful that Whitehawk families contributed such positivity about the school in the DfE campaign to improve attendance across the country.
