Happy New Year everyone! I hope you enjoyed the break with family and friends. It’s been so great to have the children back in school, and I’ve been very impressed with how hard they have worked. I’ve lost count of the number of children who have come to show me excellent work that they are proud of.
CAW author
One of our Year Five students has been glowing with pride after she published her very own book, Isla and her Backpack of Bees about a child working through their worries. It’s a beautiful book and if you’d like to buy a copy, it’s available at the following link. Neither the family nor the school make any profit from sales...we are just delighted to celebrate a budding CAW author!
Alternative collection arrangements on icy days
On the rare occasions that the playground is unable to be cleared of ice, for safety reasons it may be necessary for families to collect children from different points at the front of the school. This map shows which entrance you would need to go. Messages are sent out via Arbor and email in advance if this is the case.

Spring Clubs are up and running!
We are very proud of the clubs we offered CAW children, most of which are generously run by staff in their own time. Miss Scozzafava’s Taylor Club is always a highlight of the Spring Term, and ends in a full production!

I love running Chess Club every Friday: it’s great seeing children develop their strategic thinking skills.

Have a great weekend and I’ll look forward to seeing you on the gate on Monday morning,
