December in Year 4!

Year Four have had a great half term learning about the adventures of the Silk Road. We have written stories about the journeys the traders made along this route and the dangers they faced. Have a look at our wonderful publishing of these stories. We also learnt how to write biographies and wrote about Marco Polo. 

We had to imagine we were Silk Merchants and made great posters about our jobs. 

Our maths work has focussed on addition and subtraction and we have all become very confident using the methods we have been taught. 

Year four have loved working on our accelerated reader targets and both classes have smashed their class target. Well done to those children who have achieved their personal target. We can't wait to start our new challenge after the holidays.
