We hope you enjoyed reading Lucy's In Lockdown with your children. Here are two more books written to help children understand Corona Virus. My Hero Is You is a longer story with lots of detail and Dr Dog is a simpler, shorter informative story. Well done to all children who have been having fun, giving the learning challenges a go and staying safe! We have been so impressed with all your effort 

If you did not collect your child's home learning pack from 20th March, they are still available to be collected from school. Please call the school office to arrange collection!

In addition to the Year 2 Home Learning Blog below, there are several other resources avaible to support home learning

• more general activities and ideas, under each of the subject headings here, including Maths With Parents
• the Home Learning page of the school website (just above the Year Groups tab) for ideas for children of all ages
• the website www.twinkl.com is a popular website used by schools that has an endless amount of activities. It is currently being offered free to parents with the code: UKTWINKLHELPS
• the entirety of Purple Mash (beware that Purple Mash has activities available for children of all ages so some activities will be aimed at younger or older children!
