Summer Term Update!

Year 4 started this half term creating large class pictures as part of our Paragon topic.  This term we are learning about World War 1.  We've looked at what started the war and  thinking about what it was like to be a soldier in the trenches.  

In writing we have created beautiful poems based on war poetry and are sewing pictures of poppy fields to display them.  We will be using the theme of World War 1 to write letters and newspaper articles.

Maths is all about statistics and shape this half term.  We've had a great start gathering data and looking at different methods of presenting this.  In the next couple of weeks we will move on to looking at shapes.

Science this term is Living Things and we are looking forward to getting outside exploring which insects live around us.
