Maths 4th June 2020
For the rest of the week in Maths I would like you to have a try at finding fractions of an amount. Here is a first, next, last to help you. This will make more sense after watching the videos.

Lesson 3 - Fractions of an amount.
Lesson 4 - Fractions of operators shows how 'of' and 'x' mean the same thing! So please don't get confused by this.
Writing, Spelling, History & Science
You will find the second part of our Talk for writing challenge, a spelling game to download and play at home, a historical comic story about Martin Luther King Junior, who was a very important part of American Black Civil rights. It begins with our work on slavery and the theme continues to be important today. You will also find a great science activity! Click on the links below!

Sussex Virtual School Games- Can we beat St Marks's??!!!
Why not try competing against other schools, like St Mark's, in the Sussex Virtual School Games? This is a sports challenge that you can do from home and then give in your scores to see if we can do better than other schools. So far there have been hockey, tennis, football and gymnastics activities. The new challenge for this week (week beginning 1st June) is netball and basketball!
